The Puzzle Table

When Ffyo first arrived among the Rangers, she carried a box of puzzle pieces.

The problem was…she didn’t know what the picture was supposed to be.

So she did what she had always done in life.

She tried to solve the puzzle fast.

Piece after piece, she forced them together.

Edges bent. Corners jammed. Shapes pushed where they didn’t belong.

“Solution first,” she would say.

But the Rangers didn’t rush.

They sat beside her at the table.

Calico Cat tilted a piece in the light.

“Look first,” she said.

The Owl studied the shapes.

“Understand the pattern.”

The Lioness gently moved one piece aside.

“Sometimes solving means slowing down.”

Piece by piece, they showed her something she had never practiced before.

Not fixing.

Not forcing.

But seeing.

One day, Ffyo paused.

She turned a piece.

And suddenly the image made sense.

For the first time in her life…

she didn’t just solve the puzzle.

She understood the picture.

The Rangers smiled.

Because they knew something Ffyo was only beginning to discover.

This wasn’t the end of the puzzle.

It was only the first corner.

And she’s only just begun.
