Tiny Wonders, Brave Tries

One bright morning, Zinnia woke up with a big smile.

She stretched her arms, wiggled her toes, and said, “Today is going to be GREAT!”

Zinnia packed her small yellow backpack and grabbed her favorite camera. Outside, two caring Rangers were waiting—Unequivocal, who believed in clear lines and doing what’s right, and Serapha, who loved steady steps and helping others feel brave.

“Ready to explore?” asked Serapha.

“Always!” Zinnia replied.

As they walked along the trail, Zinnia suddenly stopped.

She knelt down and looked closely at the ground. There, on a bright green leaf, was a tiny ladybug.

Zinnia pulled out her magnifying glass and gasped.

“I see tiny wonders!” she said. “So small, but so amazing!”

Unequivocal smiled. “Great Rangers notice the little things,” she said.“When you look carefully, you learn carefully.”

Soon they reached a shallow stream. The water sparkled in the sunshine.

Zinnia paused for just a moment. The rocks looked slippery.

Serapha gently encouraged her. “You can take it one step at a time,” she said. “That’s how steady steps work.”

Zinnia took a deep breath, stepped forward, and splashed into the water.

“I try new things!” she cheered.

The cold water tickled her toes, and she laughed louder than ever.

Brave tries make strong Rangers.

After their adventure, Zinnia sat on a smooth rock. She pulled out her notebook and colorful crayons.

Carefully, she began to draw—the ladybug, the stream, and her two Ranger friends.

She added bright flowers, smiling clouds, and a big shining sun.

“I make my own art!” she said proudly.

Serapha leaned in to look. “You used your imagination,” she said.

Unequivocal nodded. “And you followed through,” she added. “That’s what strong Rangers do.”

As the sun began to set, the sky turned orange and pink.

Zinnia held up her drawing with both hands.

She looked at it… and then looked at herself.

A warm, proud feeling filled her heart.

“I’m proud of me,” she said softly.

Serapha placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. Unequivocal smiled warmly.

“And we are proud of you too,” they said.

That night, as Zinnia climbed into bed, she whispered:

“I noticed tiny wonders. I took steady steps. I made brave tries. And I did my best.”

She closed her eyes, ready for tomorrow.

Because every Ranger learns the same way— Clear lines. Steady steps. Brave tries.
