The Fugglies of Too Fast

Ffyo loved speed.
Fast thinking. Fast solving. Fast fixing.
One afternoon a traveler approached, worried.
“I’ve been waiting forever,” the traveler said.
Ffyo had the answer instantly.
“No problem,” she said. “I’ll reset the system and that should restore your channels.”
She clicked the solution.
Done.
Perfect.
Efficient.
The traveler stared at her.
“That’s it?”
Ffyo nodded proudly.
“Yes!”
The traveler sighed.
“You never even listened.”
Ffyo froze.
From the branch above, Clarifier the Owl spoke.
“Efficiency without connection,” he said softly, “feels like dismissal.”
Ffyo looked down at her hooves.
Another Fugglies moment.
The solution had been correct.
But the traveler still felt unseen.
That evening she wrote another line in her notebook:
Fast fixes don’t replace listening.
